In Loving Memory of Kyle Phillip Ford

June 23, 1995 - March 3, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kyle Phillip Ford, who left us far too soon on March 3, 2025, at the age of 29. Kyle was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Born and raised in San Diego, Kyle embraced everything America's Finest City had to offer. He loved the beach, the vibrant downtown, and the strong sense of community that surrounded him. A natural entrepreneur with a keen sense of business, he worked in sales, quickly earning the respect of his colleagues through his dedication, drive, and infectious enthusiasm.

Kyle had a deep passion for his family and friends. His fun-loving spirit, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty created lasting bonds with those around him. His ability to make people feel welcome and valued was a testament to the warmth and generosity that defined his life.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sandee Lobred; his stepfathers, Art Bauer and Dino Battaglia; his brother, Jeffree Bauer; and his cherished grandmother, Judy "Mimi" Lobred. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phil Lobred (2016). Kyle will also be deeply missed by his extended family and countless friends who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kyle's life will be held on April 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of the Rosary, 1668 State Street, San Diego, CA 92101. A reception will follow, where family and friends can gather to share memories and celebrate the remarkable life Kyle lived.

Though his time with us was too short, Kyle's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Kyle was one of the first people I met in the dorms at SBCC.
Although we did not remain close throughout the years his positivity and energy have always stuck with me.
My condolences and love are out to his family

I met Kyle in High School. He was truly the definition of "everybody's friend." High School can be a challenging time for many and he was a person that made my experience a happier one. I hope his family knows the positive impact he left on so many. Rest in peace Kyle.

I remember meeting Kyle in high-school at one of the local skateparks here in SD. Although I met him in a group of other skateboarders, he for some reason stood out from the others. I didn´t know him extremely well, but I knew him enough to consider him a pal and a kind person. My deepest condolences to his family and the ones closest to him.
