Kyle Pratt Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 3, 2025.
Levittown - Kyle Douglas Pratt, age 44, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 28, 2025. Born on June 10,1980, to Douglas and Donna Pratt. Kyle grew up in Levittown, PA and was a 1999 graduate of Neshaminy High School. After high school, Kyle worked at Sam's Club and Lenox but he realized he did not want to live his life working for someone else.

Kyle had a passion for creativity and customer focus and began his own business, Ante Up Graphic Supply, with the love of his life, Amy Wood. The business started out in the basement of their Morrisville home, simply by selling decals. They developed the business and it grew into the storefront and warehouse in Levittown, PA. Kyle loved to help his customers tap into their own creativity and often made suggestions on how they could expand on their own business. He had a strong online presence and, as a result, he created a community of crafters in his Ante Up Facebook group. The Ante Up customers and group were more like family than a business. Customers would ask questions and Kyle was always quick to answer and offer advice. His best advice may have been "Teal isn't real!".

Kyle was a quiet soul. He was kind, generous, funny and easy going. Kyle enjoyed drumming, the outdoors, watching movies, and going to hard core shows with his friends (Clemmy and Meo) and his favorite thing was spending time with Amy and their dog, Bane.

Kyle is survived by his wife Amy Wood, parents Douglas and Donna Pratt, and siblings Amy Goldey (Robert) and Drew Pratt. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Susan O'Connor (John Pone), and sisters-in-law, Katie O'Connor (Jon Fine), Sarah O'Connor and Colleen O'Connor. Kyle is survived by several nieces and nephews and especially Zoey who would be frequently seen helping out in the store.

I've come to know Kyle through his business in 2017. Through the years I consistently saw Kyle as a person who is considerate and helpful. He would often send handwritten notes of thanks with our orders. He was always there for us helping us grow our business. His kindness is golden. Although we never met in person we already miss him and his great "can do" attitude. Our hearts and prayers go out to Amy and all the families. Thank you Kyle for always being there for us and affording us the opportunity to be part of your passion. We will always remember you. We love you Kyle.

Kyle was the kind of human that made this world a better place. He was the first to build someone up, to make their ideas seem possible. He would always entertain my ridiculous ideas and efforts! When My dog was sick, Kyle and Amy donated to his care, because that is just who they both are. We bonded over our love of our dogs, crafting, and our neurodiverse brains. Kyle agreed to be a part of a crafting network I was starting, That's where this photo came from, it was to be his bio pic. The last time I saw him in person, he and Amy came to my bands show, they both closed the store down to support me, I will never forget being nervous up there, but just looking out into the crowd and seeing Amy and Kyle both cheering me on, and knowing they closed the store just to be there meant so much to me. I hope Kyle knew how much people loved him. I hope his family sees what an absolutely selfless, caring and kind human Kyle was, and how he touched so many people. To Amy, There are so many people that will help you in any way you need during this difficult time. I know for a fact I will be there for you, my deepest and most heart felt sympathy goes to you and all of your family, and to the extended Ante-Up family that will forever be impacted by the loss of such an incredible human. #tealisntreal.
I will never forget you Kyle.

Kyle was a client of mine since 2017, and whom I never met face-to-face. But from our conversations a couple times a year, he was always on the ball, and always spoke with a kindness in his voice. The world was a better place with him. I will miss those conversations.

I am so sad and shocked about Kyle´s passing. I´ve been Ante-Up´s bookkeeper for the last 5 years. With my work being remote, I have never met Kyle, but we have become close enough that we would laugh thru our emails. I would remind him monthly/weekly to process the payroll and to pay his sales tax. Now there will be no one to `nag´ on a weekly basis. I will miss him.

I sent him photos in October of my cruise to Alaska. He was in awe. Now he can view the glaciers from above.

My condolences to Amy and the rest of his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing for all of you.

Donna, I am very sorry for loss. Although I did not know your son, after reading all the messages, I think he must have been a lovely human being and such a blessing as a son.

Kyle was not just my friend, we became family. He taught me so much about creating tees. I would come in the shop loud saying "Yo!!! What´s up!" Kyle would say "Yo! What´s up!" We would look at each other and start laughing. Then I would say "Where´s Amy?" He would say "You know where she is ~ in the back." Amy would come out and greet me. It was always a great time when I would come in the shop. I always had a funny story. Kyle would crack up laughing. For me, going in the shop was therapy. Kyle was always kind and would listen to me and then offer advice. He will be truly missed. My friend who became family.

Kyle, along with Amy and Drew, was so much a part of our kids´ growing years. He grew into the nicest young man, a kindness and friendliness that was a perfect fit for owning his own store. I´m grateful to have seen him grow through the years.

To the Ante Up Graphic Crafting community, Kyle was our Big Poppa... he created a safe space for us to ask questions, joke around and learn new things. I am forever grateful for his genuine kindness and nerdiness. Prayers to the Pratt family... may you be wrapped up in all of this love and support from the community that Kyle and Amy built.
