Kyley Perfetto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 6, 2025.
Kyley Anne Perfetto, 32, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering faith. Kyley was baptized in 2018 and was a devoted member of New City Macon. Her love for Jesus guided her through life's challenges, and she found strength and community in her church family. She participated in mission trips to Guatemala and Uganda, reflecting her commitment to service and spiritual growth.

Kyley was a person who, when she smiled, could light up any room. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness touched the lives of many. To know her was to know someone who loved fiercely, cared deeply, and was always there when you needed them most.

Sadly, Kyley faced battles that many of us will never fully understand. Addiction, a cruel and relentless struggle, became a part of her life, and despite her best efforts, it was a fight she could not win. Let us remember the way she loved, the way she dreamed, and the hope she still carried within her, even in her darkest moments.

A dedicated nurse, Kyley brought skill and deep compassion to her profession. She cared for her patients with kindness and empathy, always striving to ensure they felt valued and supported. Her impact extended beyond the clinical setting, touching lives through her heartfelt dedication.

Kyley was also a passionate weightlifter, earning recognition in CrossFit gyms across Georgia and Tennessee. Her drive and determination were evident in every pursuit she undertook.

She shared a special bond with her animals, especially her beloved dog Mojo, who preceded her in death and was her faithful companion through many of life's adventures.

Kyley is survived by her mother, Melissa Lauderbaugh of Erie; father and stepmother, Patrick and Valerie Perfetto of Melbourne, FL; siblings Amanda (Jeremey) Long, Robert (Hailey) Perfetto, and Secily Perfetto; paternal grandparents James and Karen Perfetto; maternal grandfather Donald Hartman; aunts and uncles Christina (Michael) Flanagan and Robert (Robyn) Perfetto; nieces Madison Colley and Mary Skladanowski; nephews Ayden Weaver and Luca Perfetto; and many cousins who cherished her. She was preceded in death by her sister Gina Perfetto and maternal grandmother Mary-Lou Hartman.

Private services will be held in accordance with the family's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Decatur and Macon County, an organization close to Kyley's heart. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

It's hard to type knowing that you aren't here to see it. Girl, you didn't know the meaning of a stranger, everyone was just someone you hadn't had the chance to speak with yet. You were a person filled with so much light that it made it impossible to not want to become you friend or even be around.

Keep that energy where you are going, the world still needs that around.

I won't say that I'll miss you, because I will always carry you close to my heart!

Kyley, I am going to miss your smile and your beautiful personality! We connected in college during some prime years in our lives and lost touch but no matter how much time passed it felt like no time had gone by! You were always so caring and selfless. You helped me and my now husband get through our relationship at its darkest times and I am truly thankful that God placed you in our path! You were a mentor when I needed you and you were the only true friend when I needed it! We would just sit on the rooftop and talk and you would listen. It is comforting knowing that someday I will see you in the Kingdom where you will shine brighter than before! You are going to be missed dearly and there are so many memories I will cherish until then! I love you girl! May God bless you and keep you!

Kyley was a part of our family and we will miss her terribly. Her smile and energy were contagious and she welcomed everyone. She would always want to bring at least one friend with her when we had a holiday meal. She cared deeply for her people, her patients and friends. She would stop her workout anytime to help someone she saw struggling with a movement. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and so many friends.
