1934 ~ 2012
LaRae Wilstead Pessetto passed away on March 25, 2012 in her home in Bountiful, Utah from liver cancer. LaRae was born January 9, 1934 to Alfred Raymond and Pearl Wilstead in Castle Gate, Utah. LaRae graduated from Carbon High School in 1952 and married John Pessetto Jr. on April 3, 1954. They made their home in Bountiful and raised their three sons, John, Scott, and Craig.

LaRae loved driving with her dear friends to see the autumn leaves. She found great society and enjoyment with her book club friends. Her dear little dog, Josie, was her constant friend and companion these last six years. She was always proud to be a coal miner's daughter.
LaRae was preceded in death by her husband, John, 25 years earlier. She is survived by her brother Duane (Susan) Price, Ut; and her three sons and their spouses: John & Laurie, Dallas, Tx, Scott & Leslie, Anchorage, Ak, and Craig & Michelle, Syracuse, Ut; her 14 grandchildren: Elise, Annelisa, Amy, Lara, Will, Christopher, Kevin, Travis, Scott, Justin, Jared, Abby, Julie, and Mitch; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Craig, although I never met your Mom, I got to know her through you. The numerous stories you have shared with me about her, your father, and your brothers stand out vividly in my mind. You are part of a great family and I consider myself blessed to count you as a friend. Please know that my prayers are with you and your family. TW

My son Scott was in her 3rd grade class and still talks of her fondly. She influenced many with her grace and warmth. So sorry for your loss.
