Larry Arcement Obituary

Larry Gilbert Arcement passed away on May 31, 2018. He was 85 years old. Son of the late Joseph Peter Arcement and Edith Ory Arcement. Loving father of Barry Arcement (Bonnie), Patricia Westcott (the late Elvin), Emanuel Arcement, and Jennifer Arcement. Brother of Peggy Schifano (Sidney). He was preceded in death by siblings, Jerry Arcement (the late Edwina) and Carroll Arcement (Gail). He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Larry was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Private First Class in the Korean War, and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a passionate golfer, and was a member of the Rebel Golf Club. A visitation for Larry will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE St., in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in his honor at Noon. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
