Laura Louise (Maier) Foley age 69 of Margate, FL. , died June 28th 2018.

Mrs. Foley was born December 7th, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to father, Robert A. Maier and mother Memory C. Kirby.

She graduated from Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio. She continued her education becoming a Registered Nurse and then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Laura was employed at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, FL., for over 40 years. She loved her position as a Registered Nurse in obstetrics. The last few years she became the Director, Obstetrics Patient Care at Holy Cross..

Laura spent lots of time with her family especially her grandson Tyler. She loved attending Tyler's games and his school activities. After her retirement she was involved in her community where she lived and loved to spend time with friends.

She is survived by her son Terrance Joseph Foley Jr, Sarah Foley(daughter in law), grandson Tyler Joseph Foley, her sisters Lynn Everest , Grayson, GA., (spouse Kelly)and Denise Stroud, Forest, VA., (spouse Brian) best friends Karen Berry, Concord, Ohio, Amy McDonald Fort Lauderdale, FL and Carole Holtzhauer, North Ridgeville, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Maier, mother, Memory C. Kirby, stepfather Ralph Emerson Kirby and sister Cheryl Kirby Comerford.

She has a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who adored and loved her.

Laura's Service and Celebration of her life will take place at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1655 University Drive Coral Springs FL 33071 on Thursday July 12th at 4 pm
