Laura Hall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 15, 2025.
Laura Jean (Batty) Hall, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, stepmother, daughter-in-law, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on February 6, 2025, in Fort White, Florida. Born on October 28, 1961, in New London, Connecticut, Laura lived a life filled with love, faith, and warmth that touched all who knew her.

Laura's faith was a guiding force in her life. Raised as a Christian, she was a true believer in the Lord and relied heavily on prayer for strength and guidance. Her unwavering faith in the Lord was evident in the kindness and compassion she extended to everyone she met; Laura never met a stranger. Her presence exuded love and warmth with a contagious laugh and smile. If you were lucky enough to meet or know Laura, you were blessed!

Throughout her career, Laura worked in multiple industries, including healthcare, legal, banking, and travel. Her dedication and professionalism left a lasting impact on colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond her professional life and faith, Laura found joy in spending time at the beach, boating, fishing, dancing, cooking, being with family and her beloved cat, Halee. She cherished moments spent with her loved ones and embraced every opportunity to play games, have fun, and create lasting memories.

Laura was a devoted stepmother to two beautiful children and a loving grandmother to five amazing grandchildren. Laura's nurturing spirit was a shining light to all who knew her. She was the love of Kevin's life; one of his greatest blessings as he often expressed how fortunate he was to be the one she loved. He continued to ask her to marry him every day they were together.

Laura is survived by her husband, Kevin Hall; sisters, Deonn Bunnell, Elesa Huggins, and Aimee Gagliardo; brother Jason McCormack, stepdaughters Krystle Edmonds and Kourtney Hall and grandchildren Anthony, Taylor, Addison, and Maximus as well as many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents, Edwin Ralph and Jean Marie Batty; brother, Edwin "Toby" Batte', sister, Karen Leona Poirier; nephew, Jordan Batte', and her beloved grandson, Dylon James Cadriel-Hall.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sand Key Park in Clearwater, Florida (1060 Gulf Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33767). **Please note that Sand Key Park has a $6 mandatory parking fee.

Guests are encouraged to come barefoot in the sand as Laura is honored with stories and prayer. Those attending are welcome to share any stories or memories in remembrance of Laura's beautiful soul.

Laura's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her joy, happiness, and light continue to shine through the love she shared with so many. Sweet dreams baby girl.

**Please note that Laura wished for donations in lieu of flowers to the Pinellas County Animal Services, 12450 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774 - (727) 582-2600.

My Stepmomma, Laura..... where do I begin? Its been hard for me to come up with the words. But, your consistent love and strength will always shine bright in my life. You always handled us girls with so much love and grace. You welcomed my kids into this world as if they were your own. Your love and care for our Daddyo was (and will) always be admired! Our family was better because of you. You are our angel now and are truly one in a million. We love you beyond words! Grateful to God for our time together. I know you are no longer suffering and are breathing freely! It brings me peace and comfort to remind myself of that. Selfishly, we want you here but you are finally free and flying high!! Give D a big hug from us and watch over these babies and us here. I love you more than words can say. Rest easy! Faith over fear forever.

I'm so grateful for all the wonderful memories we've made together. I'm heartbroken. I didn't know our last walk on the beach together was our last walk on the beach. She's braver than you'll ever know. Time marches on years go by, things change. I'm strong for my friend the best person whom came into my life. How fortunate am I to have one I can call a friend. Real friend. My Buddy, Pal, Friend, mentor, confidante. Laura had an inner sense with me. Her timing with cards and how she wrote was uncanny. We always made our birthdays and Christmases special. Laura is resting now. With love Sissy. Susan Harris. My angel My friend. I will miss her warmth and sunshine.
