Laura Lorraine Pike, 93, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Feb 27.

Laura was born in Ft. Duchesne, UT, to Clyde and Roberta (Hall) Pike. She spent her early childhood on the Ute reservation. She moved to Long Beach in 1939, then to Grass Valley in 1970.

Laura was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She enjoyed collecting dolls, making cards, and handcrafts of all kinds. She was proud of her Ute heritage and large extended family.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Bob, Ralph, and Helen, children Tommie, Chuck, and Tina, three previous husbands, Chuck Thompson, Ray Sherman, and Keith Messick. She is survived by children Rick(Marlene), Jerry(Kathie), Mike(Diana), and Danny, 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the LDS church 615 Hollow Way March 18 11am
