Dale W. Frack, 77, of Allentown, died December 13, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Dale was a conductor for the Philadelphia, Bethlehem, and New England Railroad in Bethlehem for 38 years until retiring in 1994. After retirement, he was a security officer for 2 years at the Northampton County Court House and a maintenance worker at Indian Creek Golf Course in Emmaus for 5 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edgar I. and Helen R. ( Peters ) Frack. He was a 1952 graduate of Allentown High School and was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Allentown. Dale served in the Army during the Korean War. He served in the 8th Army Band in Seoul, Korea and the 59th Army Band in Fort Monroe, VA. He was a life member of the Hogans Social Club, Allentown, and the Mercantile Club, Emmaus. He was a member of the East Allentown Fire Co. and the North End Wanderers. He was a trombone player with the David Neith Orchestra for over 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Survivors: Son, Dean W. Frack and his wife Barbara J. of Walnutport, PA; sister, Mildred Hoffman of Whitehall; brother, Edgar I. Frack, Jr. of Allentown; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 11 a.m. at the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. Call Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
