Laurie Cummings-Slotter

Laurie Cummings-Slotter, “Momma”, 57, of Lansdale passed away the evening of July 4, 2021, at Abington Lansdale Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Ken Slotter to whom she was married for over 18 years. Born September 5, 1963 in Scranton she was a daughter of Marvin and Loraine (Mahon) Sobel. Laurie was a graduate of North Penn High school class of 81’ and graduated from West Chester University with a Business degree then later pursued her passion to help others and went back to school at Eastern University to get her degree in Nursing. No words can describe the caring and loving way of Laurie Cummings-Slotter. She loved fiercely and fought so hard to see her son reach 30 years old and to see her daughter graduate from college. Laurie and Ken loved to travel with their family, from the Caribbean to Russia. Enjoying time with the ones she loved was her favorite pastime. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and be a light of positivity to anyone, friend or stranger. Laurie gave every part of herself to others now all we can do is carry her with us until we see her again. No words can ever describe how much she will be missed In addition to her husband she is survived by her loving children Ryan, and Colbie; and her siblings Cindy Feinberg, and John McDonnell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 3440 Skippack Pike, Skippack, PA 19474, where friends may greet the family from 9:30-10:45.
