The magnitude of Laurie's fall and sudden death set shock waves through everyone not measurable on the humanoid Richter scale of emotions. Laurie was a faithful and compassionate friend and psychologist. She was champion advocate for her clients. Laurie's calm positive psychological and compassionate skills helped so many people through life's most emotional challenging and chaotic life lessons. Laurie always said that the worst kind of emotional pain was the death of loved ones... and there are no guarantees for tomorrow so make today count. It's been a privilege to have your inspirational brief life touch ours. We give thanks and praise for a job well done. Your smile and zest for life will continue to illuminate our lives.

I was shocked and dismayed to hear of Laurie's passing. Her warmth, gentleness, welcoming smile and friendly hugs will truly be missed but they will always be remembered and cherished.
