LAWRENCE HERBERT "LARRY"
Of Penn Hills, PA, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, our hearts were broken by the passing of our beloved Larry. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Marge Gatto. Larry was the son of the late Joseph H. and Mary E. Goodrich. Larry was a native Pittsburgher and a graduate of Penn Hills HS. He was a proud owner of his "PHD", Class of '73. Larry was a longtime employee of Allegheny County and most recently the PA Turnpike Commission. Larry was the brother of his baby sister, Mary Jo (David); brothers, Jerry (deceased), Billy (Beth), Michael, and Jackie (Nancy). Larry was the well loved "Uncle Larry / Boobie" to Jane (Brad), Jerry (Jen), Amy (Conrad), Lucia, Kelly, Bridget (Greg), Elizabeth, Jimmy (Morgan), Joseph, Ally, Maggie, Sammy, and Piper. Larry was great-uncle to Abigael, Hannah, Jack, Bobby, and Timmy. Larry Is also survived by numerous family and friends, especially his Denham, King, McNamara, and Joyce cousins. Larry loved life and everyone he met. He always had a hug and an "I love you" for his family and friends. He was a proud Irishman, past member of the AOH, Div. 23, and the King of One-Liners. "Come Shoot the Sherbert with Herbert" at the FINDLAY C. WYLIE FUNERAL HOME, 11311 Frankstown Rd., Penn Hills, PA 15235 , on Saturday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. / 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gerard Majella Church, Monday 10:00 a.m. Donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor.

The Goodrich Family,
Just tonight heard of Larry passing. I worked as his asst. manager at North Park Pool way back in 2001- he was a good guy. My sincere condolences to all his family. May God be good to him.

To the Goodrich Family. I was so saddened to hear the news about Larry. He was such a wonderful kind person and friend to everyone he knew. I am sorry that I could not get to the funeral home. I worked all weekend and could not get there. I will always remember the great times we had when John and Larry played tag football and softball. I hope he and John meet in heaven and are enjoying a beer and a game. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Goodrich Cousins,
