Larry was a beautiful man. I met him in the 80´s and he was a delight to know. It was great to read that he had a full life!

Today would have been Larrys birthday, a day before mine -so easy to remember.. I met him through Tim Towne in the late sixties and had shared some wonderful times. He was a great man and knew what he wanted and went for it...I thought of him many times and sorry I didn't reach out sooner. I'm sorry for his passing and your loss. He really mad a huge mpression in my life and for that I will always be grateful. We shared so much passion for dogs and horses and I'm glad he continued that through his life.

We are so sorry for your lost and we will miss Larry very much. We always tried to get him out to see us after we left Payson. He was the best friend to our dogs and to us. We always enjoyed his company. When we talked on the phone he always said he loved us and we always told him the same. In life you rarely find a true friend. We were lucky to call him just that.
Three of our dogs passed on, Trampas was the big one in a picture Jackie sent in. I'm sure they are all with him , giving him puppy kisses in heaven.

We first Met Larry through the Illinois Racing News when I was its advertising manager and he was a lobbyist for the Horse Racing/Breeding business. That led to our partnership in Solarflame Systems...the largest Solar Heating business in the MidWest in the late 70's .
After we closed Solarflame Pat & I saw Larry as his travels to compete in Sr. Men's Decathalon and Power Lifting brought him through Chicago . Larry's last track meet was held at our house in Sugar grove where we competed in Shot Put, Discus, Javelin and Hammer Throw.....in about 1990. I still have my medal!
When Larry and Frosty were traveling doing Freight Expediting we got to see him several times each year.
Larry and Frosty joined our family for Christmas frequently until he moved to Payson.
Of course Larry loved our Bullmastiffs Ripples and Hilde.
Fortunately we made the trip to Payson last fall and had a great day with Larry recollecting all the good stories...he was in good spirits...we had a great day.
Pat and I consider ourselves fortunate that Larry Marsh was our friend for over 40 years.

To My Dear Friends Family,
I have known Larry since 2008 when he visited Payson, Az.
We became friends right off the bat, he was so likeable.
He made many friends here in Payson and we all enjoyed his company.
He was always very helpful and of course spent many hours with the dogs at the local shelter.
He spent a lot of time helping me identify old family photographs that were taken from 1910 to 1970.
He had been too so many different places and was able to help me identify many of the photos.
I learned a lot about his history and it was really fascinating! I tried to get him to write his memoirs but no luck.
It was great to see his history from his family! Thank you!!
I have a CD of his music and it is something I will cherish forever, he had a great voice!!!
I will truly miss him and our time together.
