Lawrence Orsini Obituary
89, of Providence, passed away Monday. He was the husband of Mary S. (Minasian) Orsini. They were married 64 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lorenzo and Teresa (Merola) Orsini. Mr. Orsini was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Lawrence R. Orsini of Providence, and Steven A. Orsini of Smithfield; a daughter, Sandra Minasian Orsini of Providence; two sisters, Gilda Martinelli of West Warwick and Teresa Orsini of Cranston; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Oswald, Manfredo and Louis Orsini; and Victoria DiMaio, Dolores Annis, Irene Mahaffey, Amelia Maxwell, Ida Russo and Evelyn Sangiovanni.
His funeral with visitation will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the A. TARRO & SONS Funeral Home, 425 Broadway, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Operation Stand Down RI, 1010 Hartford Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.

Daddy, I don't regret one second caring for you or sitting by your side. It was my honor and blessing. Holding the hand that held me as a baby, fed me, pushed my carriage and pushed me on the swings, built sand castles with me. Precious memories to live forever in my heart.
