Lawrence Spaustat Obituary
He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958 and later worked at Chrysler for 17 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the UAW Local 1166.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Zyla, Kearney, Nebraska, and Lori (Jim) Burns, Omaha, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Leigh Anne (Dale) Laflin, Crab Orchard, Nebraska, Jennifer (Ryan) Scarlett, Kearney, Nebraska, David (Beckie) Zyla, Crab Orchard, Nebraska, James (Nicole) Burns, Omaha, Nebraska, and Brian Burns, Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Walter Spaustat, Omaha, Nebraska; loving friend, Betty Stevens; close friend, Jim Trishman; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Lawrence M. Spaustat; his parents; and one sister, Margie Simet.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Northview Christian Church.
