Lee BJARNASON Obituary

BJARNASON _ Lee, aged 63, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 10, 2002. Lee will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Wendy (nee Robertson); his daughter Lana; his sons, Brett (Kathy) and Matt (Monica) and his six beautiful granddaughters. He is survived by his mother Victoria and his brother Fred (Cindy) and family; predeceased by his father Al and his brother Matt. Lee retired after working more than 30 years with the Operating Engineers, Local 115. He had many good friends and relatives who will remember him as a kind, thoughtful, gentle man who would go out of his way to lend a helping hand or just an ear to listen. A "Celebration of Life" will take place on November 23rd at 1:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Port Coquitlam Legion on Shaughnessy Street. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Scholarship Fund of the Icelandic Canadian Club of BC at 3446 W. 19th Ave. in Vancouver, BC, V6S 1C2.
