Lee Bojorquez Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2024.
Lee Ann Bojorquez (née McRobert), 85, passed away on August 17, 2024, at home surrounded by her family in St. Anthony, Idaho. Born on May 2, 1939, in Green Lake, Wisconsin, Lee was a beacon of love and humor, always prioritizing family and brightening every room with her presence.

Lee graduated from Markesan High School in 1957 and embarked on a diverse career journey that included roles in the aircraft manufacturing industry, real estate, and healthcare. Her dedication and pride in her work were evident to all who knew her.

A devout Christian, Lee was a firm believer in the power of prayer. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing strength and guidance through all her endeavors.

Lee's zest for life was not confined to her professional achievements or spiritual devotion; she had a profound love for thrift store and yard sale shopping, and the beach was a favored retreat. Her laughter and kind spirit made her a joy to be around.

Lee was the beloved wife of Richard C. Bojorquez and a cherished mother to Carri L. Smith (Tom), Vicki A. Butler (partner Peter Laurentzius), and Michael L. Butler. She was also a loving grandmother to Lori Dumont, Amber Goodman, and Melanie Butler, and a great-grandmother to Graham, Poppy, Wyatt, and Namya. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jane (Van de Kolk) McRobert; siblings, Merle, Melvin, Gilbert, Margaret, and Junice McRobert; and her first husband, Marion L. Butler.

A celebration of Lee's great life is planned for August 22 at her home in St. Anthony. The Bert Flamm Mortuary in St. Anthony, Idaho, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Lee's life was a testament to her unwavering kindness and her ability to inspire and uplift everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her loving family and friends.
