Dear Annie, The last time we saw Lee a short time before he died, he stopped by our Indigo Run home and brought us one of your delicious cottage pies. He was so sweet and we will always remember that wonderful pie you made and his kindness in bringing it.

I am so sad about the loss of Lee . He was at my very front door just days before his passing doing some of the great charitable work that he did. Lee and Annie were so friendly to me as I was bird watching near their home on Crystal Lake in Indigo Run and Lee was out walking his dog, Indigo. I will also remember Lee and miss him as an usher at St. Francis Catholic Church.

So sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to work as an associate for Lee for a year after I graduated law school in the early 90s. I was amazed and inspired by Lee's unwavering advocacy, compassion and dedication toward his clients and anyone in need. I admired Lee's passion for his family and friends and remember the twinkle in his eye after IU won a big game or when a new part arrived to add to his model train set. Will toast a large glass of milk in his honor. Lee was such a kind, patient and gentle spirit who will be missed by all.
