Leeanne TYLER

58, passed away at her home, following a lengthy illness. Born July 5, 1955 in Woodland, California to Mary Margaret (Atkinson) Tyler and Ronald Howard Tyler. Both parents predeceased her. Leeanne is survived by her brothers, Ross Tyler and wife Karen of Chula Vista, CA, and Guy Tyler of San Diego, CA; and a niece, Skye Tyler of Rowlett, TX. Taking after her aunt, Skye plays the flute in her high school marching band and also in the local symphony. Also surviving Leeanne are several aunts and uncles, along with numerous cousins and their respective families. Earning a bachelor of science degree in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University in 1979, she began practicing P.T. in various Sonoma County hospitals, as well as patient home care after graduation. She had a very active role in the American P.T. Assoc., Santa Rosa District (APTA) where she served two separate terms as Chapter President. Additionally, Leeanne had a lifelong involvement in Beta Sigma Phi. She served as a past president of the Santa Rosa City Council of B.S.P. At the time of her death she belonged to the Preceptor Kappa Epsilon Chapter, Santa Rosa. Her family wishes to extend a sincere "thank you" to those folks who lent their support and assistance to Leeanne during her life.
