IN LOVING MEMORY LELAND COLEMAN 1917 - 1999 Happy Birthday Day! You were born 90 years ago today in Springerville, AZ. What an incredible journey through life you had. Growing up during the Depression, cattle ranching with your father, combat in World War II, earning a Master's Degree at ASU, teaching school, serving a mission to Alaska, citrus farming and much more. But most of all we remember you for being the kindest and most unselfish person we ever knew. Not a day does by that we don't miss you and your steadying influence. Your life certainly exemplified the following: Walk humbly son, Walk humbly now And cherish every step For a life well spent On this Earth we're lent Will be marked by the void You have left Yes there is a tremendous void in our lives now, but your love, example, and memory helps us to go on till we meet again on the other side.
