Lenore Smith Obituary
Raised in Patchogue New York, she went on to receive a BS in education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She had a career as a banking executive before leaving to raise her two children. Subsequently, she worked in real estate as an agent and then managed the Croton-on-Hudson offices for Coldwell Banker and Prudential Realty.
Lenni was an avid reader who loved to play canasta, bridge, and mahjong, but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren. A caring and easygoing woman, she also enjoyed exploring new activities such as painting, and volunteered to read to children at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library.
She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Stephen, her children Paul and Wendy, her daughter-in-law Renata, her grandchildren Adam and Nella, and her sister Carol Kauffman.
