Leonard Franklin "Buzz" Beishline III passed away on March 17, 2010. Born in Scranton, PA on October 17, 1929, son of the late Leonard Franklin Beishline, Jr. and Kathryn (Burdick) Elliott.
Raised in the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls, he graduated from LaSalle High School in 1947, where he was captain of the football team. He then attended St. Lawrence University and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was employed by Bell Aerospace before beginning his insurance career with Massachusetts Mutual in 1957. He joined Allstate Insurance in 1962 as an Insurance Agent in Niagara Falls, and later, Williamsville, until his retirement in 2002. He received numerous awards and commendations from Allstate during his years of service. He was very active in the Niagara Falls JayCees and the Kiwanis Club, where he served many years as president. He was one of the founders of the LaSalle High School Booster Club in the late 1960's.
He assisted many student-athletes in attaining college admission and scholarships. He also served on board of directors for Niagara ARC group, Boy Scout representative to council and as a baseball coach. In later years he enjoyed golf and dancing in the Amherst Dance Club, where he served as co-president with his wife, Betty. Buzz was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He loved to talk and share his belief in the "three F's - faith, family and friends.
Survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Stulik) Beishline; three daughters, Susan (Edward) Perlman of Lewiston, Barbara (Michael) Kolodziej and Mary Jane (Russell) Ortman of Niagara Falls; and step-sons, Edward (Anne) Stulik, M.D. of Barrington, RI and Kenneth (Patricia) Stulik of Clifton, VA; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, John (Joanne) Beishline of Tonawanda and brother, Thomas Beishline and sister, Judith Pershing of Philadelphia, PA; and many special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Joan (Alfred) Weber of Niagara Falls.
Memorial calling hours, Saturday 12 noon to 1 PM at the Perna, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home, 1671 Maple Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221. Memorial Service to follow at 1 PM.

Dear Beishline family,

Dear Joanne, Sorry to see that your Uncle Buzz has passed. I remember visiting him at Allstate he was such a funny man. My Dad and him kept us well insured! I did not realize that Susan Pearlman is your cousin..I know her and Ned...great people...Sorry of you loss Susan and Ned. RIP Uncle Buzz.
