Please accept my deepest condolences Bruce. I am sorry this has come so late but as you are aware my family has also suffered a loss this year. I did not know Leslie, however, I do know you and certainly if you are any reflection I am sure she was a lovely person who will be sorely missed by her friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the privilege of getting to know Leslie as a parent of Le Roi Daniels. She is one of the kindest and most sincere people I have ever met. I had a habit of being late for the first month of school and she would keep her eye on my daughter and laugh good naturedly as I ran down the street in a panic - in fact, she always had a good natured laugh ready.....she will be missed.

I first knew Leslie as a substitute teacher who subbed for me at CN Gunn Elementary, where she eventually got her first permanent contract with the CBE. We became friends and for several years belonged to the same ladies' group. Leslie's enthusiasm for teaching always shone through and was her life's joy! Her sudden passing was a shock and she will be sadly missed. My condolences to her whole family at this sad time.

Leslie was a childhood friend and neighbor. I remember her kindness and gentle soul. I regret that I didn't have the opportunity to meet her again over the years, but it is clear that she left an impression as a teacher, friend and loved one. My condolences to the family.

I taught with Leslie for many years at Colonel Sanders School. Leslie was a terrific teacher who brought humour and smiles to school everyday. Leslie was one of the only teachers that I've ever taught with who dressed up in costume and performed alongside her students in our school's musicals. I will never forget her for that and the many, many contributions she made towards our school. She was a generous friend and was my teacher's convention buddy. I will miss you so much Leslie. Rest in peace. Prayers to her family and friends too! This is such a tragic loss.

Leslie was my dear friend and I imagine her gone. She gave so much to her profession and those who were lucky enough to know her. She loved life. We always joked about how her favorite everything was blue. I will miss her so much! She was loved. My heart goes out to her wonderful family whom she adored and the students who will not be blessed with her kindess and wisdom. Goodbye my dear friend.

I didn't know Leslie, but I wanted to say how very sad I was to hear of her passing. I am a good friend of her Aunt Doris in Vancouver. Doris spoke of Leslie often and told me what a lovely woman she was. She told me how much Leslie loved her family and friends and what a dedicated principal she was as well. My sincere condolences to all of you.

I met Leslie in 1979, while we both attended nursing school at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. She was so much fun to hang around with, so generous, and a great cook too. She was my bridesmaid, my confidante, and my friend for many years. We lost touch but I have never forgotten my buddy "Leserlie" I still have her hand written recipe for french onion soup. So sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with the entire Wright family and Leslie's school family.

Leslie shared her love of Science teaching with me, and got me started in a new grade level with the program. She willingly provided new techniques, resources and ideas and encouraged my teaching with her enthusiasm. I will always remember her contribution as a new member of TLC. Rest in peace Leslie.
