The world needs more men like Lester. He gave the youth of Dallas City something to do. Something to look forward to. He spent countless hours with "his" kids and more often than not, waived their monthly fees to the boxing club. Here's to you Lester! I hope you are enjoying your next chapter with your son and your wife. Your "kids" sure will miss you.

We lived across the tracks from the Eaves family in Dallas City many years ago.Linda was my best friend. When they moved, I was so sad. My brother, Ronnie and I, had countless great times with them. In those days, we played outside until way after dark. Such good memories. Neither family had a t.v.

Lester was my son's boxing coach from the time he was about 9 yrs old until he was about 17. Lester and the entire Eaves family have been apart of our lives for all those years and then some. My condolences to Todd, Mike and Trish and to Jerry as well. I will forever have him in my heart.
