Lila was a kind and gentle soul, filled with love for all. She was a true blessing to our family for many years and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Looking forward to the day when we will be with her once again in Glory!

Ben, I didn't know your mother but I could tell you really loved her from when you would bring her to church from time to time. I know you will miss her but take comfort in knowing she is with Christ and you will see her again one day in Heaven.

Dearest Wyatt Family,
We remember your parents from our being next door neighbors on Titan Street along with the Philip's family. Your Mom would babysit for me because Fred was off playing soldier on many occasions. Both your Mom and Dad came to visit us at Ft. Polk, LA. also and we took them up to a Christmas parade in the town where Steel Magnolia's was filmed. We even made a planned connection with Lila at train station once when we lived in Los Angeles. We both circled that station for about an hour until she recognized me finally with the entire family since both our hairdo's had changed over the years. When a Wyatt or a Jones needed help, we were their for each other's families. Thanks to Jackie and Lila, we coordinated a meeting in Houston to act as a witness for our Laura at the Italian Consulate for someone to attest to her being an upright citizen of the USA, so she could marry an Italian. That is what friends are for!! God Bless You dear Lila. I know you and Ted are in each others arms once again.
Love to all,
Louise, Fred, Laura and Matt Jones

Lila was my Mother-in-Law for 27 years. She had a kind and generous heart. The thing we had most in common was that we both loved her son. Brad and I are so thankful and blessed that we were able to give her two grandsons and share in their joy. We know Nathan and Hudson loved her dearly and will truly miss their Grammie, but it brings them peace knowing she's in heaven with Grandpa Ted watching over them from above.

To steal a line from The Sopranos, my mom was a saint. I learned unconditional love from her. She never uttered an unkind word and loved her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She'll be sorely missed.

Thanks for posting all the beautiful pictures of your Mom. They brought a smile to my heart as I remember driving Lila to and from hair appointments and an occasional shopping trip. She was so much fun and always wanted to buy my lunch. We shared a meal or two at Blackeyed Pea...always a good time there. I am so saddened at her passing, but thankful that she knew the Lord and that she is in heaven with Ted. What a reunion!
