Lillian Card Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 15, 2025.
Lillian "Lil" Card (née Dunham), age 92, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in Malden, Massachusetts. Born on September 23, 1932, in Massachusetts, she lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family and a warm spirit that touched many.

Lil was married to the late Robert Card, and together they built a loving home in Rochester, New Hampshire. Their life together was centered around family, and Lil took great pride in raising their three daughters: Susan LeCain, Elizabeth Bertrand, and Patricia Martin.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lil leaves behind a legacy of love through her ten grandchildren-Bruce Morse, Susan Colby, Mary Kistner, Richard Morse, Tina Zitano, Peter Zitano, Liz Beraldi, Dominic Beraldi, Glenn Martin, and Geoffrey Martin-and twelve great-grandchildren. Her family was the heart of her world.

Lil had a passion for cooking and baking; her kitchen was often filled with the comforting aromas of homemade meals and sweet treats prepared with care. She also enjoyed playing bingo and found joy in crocheting thoughtful gifts for others-a reflection of her generous nature. Her creativity and kindness were evident in every stitch.

Those who knew Lil remember her as a very loving person who adored her family and cherished her many friendships. Her warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
