Linda Boehr Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 15, 2013.
Linda Sue Boehr July 11, 1958 – June 15, 2013 Linda Sue Boehr was born on July 11, 1958 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Jerry Collins and Dorothy Tews, who preceded her in death. She grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa with her 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She was known for her big heart and infectious laughter, which underscored her lively sense of humor, effervescence and joy. As the mother of four, her hallmark was always the thoughtful care of others, especially the loving care she provided during her mother's final months. Linda excelled at finding fun wherever she was, while enthusiastically drawing in everyone around her to share it. She adored her five grandchildren and spent many happy hours walking to the park, riding bikes, having water balloon fights, and making up stories with them. She took pride in her work, especially in her newest adventure as an associate with Target, where she forged lasting and meaningful relationships in just a few short months. She will be remembered for all of the extraordinary ways she touched and enriched the lives of those who knew and loved her. Linda is survived by six siblings: James Collins, Rocky Pikschus, John Pikschus, Diane Sweem and husband, James, June Johnson and husband, Steve, and Theresa Trively; four children: LeAnn Boehr, Rebecca Williams, Jessica Boehr, and John Boehr; and five grandchildren: Alexis Boehr, Elena Boehr, Robert Williams, Jr., Sean Williams, and Sophia Williams.
