Linda Cawthorne, age 79, of Hixson passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 03, 2022. She was born in Courtland, Alabama to the late William Alfred and Annie Mae Moore Bowen, Sr.
A graveside service will at 1:00 pm CST, (2:00 pm EDT), on Sunday, October 16, at the O’Brien Cemetery, Christiana TN, 37037.
She is survived by her son, James S. Cawthorne Jr.; daughters, Nicole Cawthorne and Lenore Cawthorne; her grandsons, Jace and Jake Cawthorne; granddaughters, Emory, Bevan, and Claire; great-grandchildren, Braxton and Indie; brother JD; and sisters, Jacqueline and Joyce. She
Ms. Cawthorne was also a beloved nanny for the Cox family and a wonderful friend to nature, babies, the elderly, and everyone she met.

I will always have fond memories of Aunt Linda. She reminds me of my dad in that they were both caring of others and easy to talk to. To those who knew her as mom, may God comfort you now and in the future.
