Linda L. (Parker) Coy, 71 years of age, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015, at her home. Linda was the wife of the late David E. Coy who died August 16, 2015. She is survived by her loving children, David Coy married to Patricia (Geddes) Coy of East Weymouth and Brenda Lorraine Shea fiance of Dan McGlone of Weymouth. She is survived by her son-in-law, Richard Shea of Weymouth. She was the loving grandmother of Victoria Mangio U.S. Coast Guard of Key West, Fla., Amanda Coy of East Weymouth, Kimberly Shea and Joseph D. Shea of Weymouth. She was especially fond of spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was the sister of the late Warren Parker and Robert Parker. She is survived by her brother, William Parker of Weymouth; and her sister, Mildred Muther of Florida. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Deborah Vaughan of North Carolina. She is also survived by her close friends, Lois Keniston and Kristina Lees both of Weymouth. She was born in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1962. She lived in East Weymouth for many years before moving to Braintree. Linda had been employed in years past by General Dynamics Corp. of Quincy at the Fore River Shipyard. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Quincy. As a young person she belonged to the Rainbow Girls. Over the years she was a fan of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Linda loved to listen to Elvis Presleys music and it will be played at her visitation. Visiting hours at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, Friday, October 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. with remembrances to be given during that time as well as prayers.
