Linda Gesuero Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from May 1 to May 3, 2023.
RAPPAHANNOCK ACADEMY, VIRGINIA ? Linda Marie Gesuero of Rappahannock Academy, Virginia passed away Friday April 28th at the age of 72. She will be reunited with her two best friends in life-her mother Joyce and grandmother Marie.

She was born March 29, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Earl Lemay and Bill and Joyce Meekins. She is survived by her two sons Brian Gesuero of Federalsburg, MD and Russell and Lori Gesuero of Seaford, DE, grandchildren Madison Hearne and her husband Brandon, Carson, Luke and Harper Gesuero and one special great grandchild Paxton Kay.

Linda had the kindest soul and was always willing to help those in need. She also had a special bond with animals and had just about every pet you could imagine. She had horses for many years, a squirrel, a raccoon and even a hedgehog. She also had many, many dogs over the years but none as special as her Rottweiler Mariah who was her companion wherever she went.

Linda worked as a dispatcher in logistics for most of her adult life with DewLine Trucking, NorthEast Corridor and H&M Trucking and was also the first female dispatcher for them. She was also known to have the best handwriting and skilled in calligraphy and often was called upon for doing invitations.

She is preceded in death by her parents Earl Lemay and Joyce & Bill Meekins.

Linda's ashes will be laid to rest with a private family ceremony in Rockfish, VA.
