Linda Harms Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 26, 2009.
Linda Kay Harms was lifted up to our Lord on Monday January 26th 2009. Born on October 1st, 1948 in Cresco, Iowa her love of music began at the age of five and soon she played the clarinet; adding the study of the pipe organ before her teenage years. She became an accomplished organist by the age of 14 and passionately instructed organ and piano to many students throughout her life. Linda was joined into marriage to Marvin Harms May 4th, 1968 in Storm Lake, IA. She is survived by her husband, two daughters; Debra Sedinger of Buffalo, NY; Rebecca Carpenter of Meridian, ID; and son Matthew Harms of Sandpoint, ID. She is also survived by two brothers; Ronald Falck of Storm Lake, IA and Darrell Millard of Alta, IA as well as her father Donald Falck of Waterloo, IA. Preceding her in death is her mother, stepfather, one grandson and two granddaughters. They moved from Iowa to Sandpoint, Idaho in 1989. She carried her passion for teaching with her continuing to teach preschool and piano students. Marvin and Linda moved to Post falls Idaho in 2000. Our sorrow for our loss is tempered by our faith in the risen Lord who gives us victory even over death. The funeral service will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 1700 E Pennsylvania Ave, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Friday January 30th, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers or gifts please make donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network on her behalf. 2141 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 7000 El Segunda, CA 90245. www.pancan.org Yates Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
