Linda, thank you for sharing your knowledge, passion, experiences, and zeal for life and the nursing profession. Thank you for taking the time to listen, for your presence, your compassion, your camaraderie, your advice, and your encouragement. Thank you for being a beacon in an oft-dark world, one which is better for having hosted you for a time. May the seeds of light and love that you've sown in the hearts and minds of others continue to grow and blossom, carrying on your bold and wonderful legacy. I am so grateful for the time I had as your student, brief though it was. You made a profound impact, added to my professional foundation, gave me sage advice, inspiration, and validation regarding my instincts, ability, and that I was in the right place and profession. I cannot express how much I appreciate you or overstate what a gift your being in my life at just the right time and place was. I wish it had been longer, I miss our interactions, and I'm sad that you're gone. May your soul soar and be at peace knowing that you left the world a better, kinder place.
Sue, we have not met, but I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you and the entire family for your loss. My heart goes out to you.
