Linda Sorrenti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 4, 2025.
Camarillo - Linda Sorrenti was born on April 23, 1955, in Casablanca, Morocco, and passed away peacefully with her 2 sons holding her hands in Ventura, California, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease on July 19, 2025. She enriched every life she touched with her warmth, tenacity, and unwavering compassion.

Throughout a remarkable 31-year career as Campus Supervisor at Moorpark High School, Linda became a guiding light for countless students. Beyond her official duties, she dedicated her spare time to helping troubled teens find hope, lending an empathetic ear and steady support when they needed it most.

An adventurer at heart, Linda loved to water ski, and she also embraced the open road on two wheels. She began her riding journey on a Harley-Davidson Sportster and later upgraded to a Harley Softail Deluxe. Those rides weren't just about freedom; they were expressions of the fearless spirit that defined her. She also loved to visit Chumash casino with her 2 closest friends, Helen and Felicia.

Family meant everything to Linda. She adored her sons, Dante and Sean, and would move heaven and earth for them. Every summer she whisked her boys and her mother away-whether to Magic Mountain, Western Caribbean, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, or Mexico-crafting memories that will live on forever.

After relocating to Camarillo, Linda became a beloved fixture in the Del Prado community. Even as her Alzheimer's progressed, you could find her walking the neighborhood community for hours with her loyal dog, Ollie, greeting neighbors, sharing stories, and showering pets with affection. She is survived by her two sons and brother, Charlie.
