Lindsey Shovlin Obituary
Born June 24, 1999, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of John Shovlin and Candy Shovlin.
Lindsey was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and attended Lock Haven University and Wilkes-Barre Technical School of Nursing. She loved cheerleading and gymnastics.
She is survived by her beloved son, Luca; siblings, Clarissa, Candice and Nathan; nephews, Troy, Carson and Brison, who she loved as her own, grandparents, John and Linda Shovlin; and Pei Henderson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Lindsey was a shining star, always there when people needed her, a loving and gentle soul. She was devoted to her family, especially her son, Luca. Sometimes mental abuse can take someone away from everyone who loved her. My angel, loving mother, daughter, sister and most of all my granddaughter, you will always live in our hearts. Love you forever.
Private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc, 281 Chapel St. Swoyersville.

Our beautiful sweet Lindsey, you were such a heart warming young lady, always had a smile on your face no matter the circumstances, although this happened you were very strong! Along one of the best mothers I've ever met, I watched how Luca changed your life, it's hard being a mother....

Lindsey was such a beautiful and kind hearted person. I've known her since I was young but did not start talking to her until we cheered together in high school. She never ceased to brighten up anyone's day. Her goofiness and genuineness is something I'll never forget. I'll always cherish the fun times we had together. My thoughts and prayers and are with her family and loved ones.

I cheered with Lindsey on Keystone Extreme and, although we were never as close, she was always nice as can be and tried to put a smile on everybody's face. She was such a light in this world that was extinguished far too early. I am keeping your family in my prayers and I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Lindsey, I will miss you forever. We were siscousins... we loved that we shared the last name so we pretended that we were sisters/cousins.
Your smile was so beautiful and big, just like your heart. Your laugh was so amazing and contagious. You have impacted many of us with memories and love. I sure will cherish forever.
