DOIRON-GIONET, Lisa Marie On Saturday, June 5, 2004, Lisa Marie Doiron-Gionet passed away peacefully at the age of 38 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 3, 1965 in Bas-Caraquet, NB. Lisa is remembered with love by her husband Elphege (Frenchy) Gionet, her parents, Albert and Corinne Doiron, two brothers Yves and Gilbert all of Bas-Caraquet, NB. She will also be lovingly remembered by her favourite godson Miguel Duguay-Bolduc of Val D'or, PQ, step-son Colin Gionet (Janet), children, Shanaye and Isaiah of Stony Plain, AB, stepdaughter, Laurel Krause (Otto), children Cherie, Travis and Joelle of Surrey, BC, Frenchy's three brothers and three sisters and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Eastern Canada. Lisa made a lasting impression on those around her. She met and made many close friends: Richard and Myrna Frizell, Edmonton, AB; Cor and Lynette Looy, Black Diamond, AB; Helen Kelly, Calgary, AB; Marc and Lynn Ayotte, Calgary, AB; Ron and Betty Munsch, Medicine Hat, AB; Morley and Doris Haldenby, Hayter, AB; and many, many others. A special thank you to the medical staff at Misericordia Hospital ICU and recovery units who cared for Lisa with unfailing love and compassion. Lisa and Frenchy were owner-operators at Mullen Trucking for 8 years. There she is fondly remembered for her smiling face, her sense of humor, caring spirit, 'never quit' attitude, and willingness to help those who needed it. Lisa's funeral will take place at Bas-Caraquet, NB on Friday, June 18, 2004. Celebration of her Life will be held in Edmonton on July 24, 2004 at the Mayfield Inn from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. At Lisa's request, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, #345, 10909 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3L9
