Lisa Jo Thacker

Lisa Jo Thacker, of Silver Creek, lost her long battle with emphysema and passed peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Kindred Hospital. She was 60 years young, born October 18, 1957 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steven Anthony Thacker, of Coosa, Ga. She is also survived by her five children, Jeremy Dee Thacker, Jordan Anthony Thacker, Amy Jo Thacker, Aaron Mathew Thacker, and Hailey Jo Thacker; and nine grandchildren, Ashton, Anslee, Ayden, Madyson, Michael, Mason, Amelia, Jaycee, and Grady, who all gave her a purpose, all from Rome and small communities in Floyd County. Also surviving is her mother, Bertha Evelyn Holt Romagnoli, of Stafford, Va.; four siblings, Gina Anne Romagnoli Gracik, of Auburn, Calif.; Richard Peter Romagnoli Jr., of Humble, Texas; Maria Christine Romagnoli, of Stafford, Va.; and Christina Anne Romagnoli, of Bowling Green, Va.; four nephews & one niece. Her father, Richard Peter Romagnoli Sr., of Stafford, Va., preceded her in death on August 4, 2015 and was laid to rest at Quantico, Virginia. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be by invitation. She wanted to keep this small, family and friends.
