Lisa's photo gallery is so moving. I never had the opportunity to meet her at Cummins. However her spirit is strong that it transcends meeting ppl or not. She had a full and blessed live. Her family is beautiful and I know they miss her everyday. She crossed my mind today and I googled her to find this page. I pray for her family, her husband and their beautiful children. I pray for her mother and additional family. I never met her but she crosses my mind a lot. And when she earned her angel wings I was so shocked. I know she will always be with her family as their guardian angel. God Bless and give her family continued comfort to keep her memory alive, keep living as she would want and be happy and have a full live as she did. God Bless. Camica Perez, a Cummins employee

Andy and Family. So sorry for your loss. Many fond memories as member of Lisa's staff at Cummins Power Generation. Lisa made work fun again and I was honored to be considered for adoption by Lisa (not sure you were in agreement).

It was with profound sadness that I learned the news about Lisa. I was Lisa's high school softball coach and Civics teacher at Port Huron Central High School before she moved to Marysville H.S. when Port Huron discontinued their sports programs. She was always one of my favorite players and students and I affectionately referred to her as "Juice". I spent one Christmas Eve with the Juzysta family dressed as Santa to surprise Lisa. She was dynamic and dedicated. Her slide show depicts the essence of this special lady. She will be missed.

I had the opportunity to coach Lisa in high school basketball. She always had so much positive energy and that ever present smile on her face. She played so hard with so much heart, and even then, displayed excellent leadership skills. Lisa was one of the best defensive players we ever had. She was also one of those people who could light up a room just be walking in. It was a privilege to have known her, and she was one of my favorite players that I had a chance to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I was one of Lisa's neighbors growing up. We played a lot of baseball, basketball and other games at Lisa's yard and the other yards in the neighborhood. I regret that as we each grew up and moved away from Port Huron that we didn't keep in touch. It seemed like there would always be another time that we might both be in Port Huron for some holiday and run into each other as our mothers are still neighbors. I will miss you.

Andy and family: I'll never forget the time I met Lisa. I attended an orientation meeting as she was searching for her executive admin here in Columbus. She was forthright with her diagnosis and how she handled her treatments, home life, and work. I was so impressed with her "can-do" attitude and how cancer wasn't going to stop her from living her life. She was a force of nature and she will be greatly missed in so many ways. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It always gave me comfort that Lisa was at the helm of so many important leadership positions within Cummins. Lisa was one of a handful of leaders who had purpose, vision, conviction, and drove results. She was committed to developing others even while maintaining a grueling schedule. She stood for what was right in terms of running the business, diversity, the environment, and her teams. You could often hear her booming voice and laugh during meetings; a sign of her passion and a love for her work. She expected much of people, but always gave more than anyone in terms of her contributions to make the World, Cummins, the Supply Chain, and her people better. Lisa Yoder has created many lifelong memories for me and left an outstanding legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Lisa was a tremendous leader and mentor. I am so grateful for all of the times that she invited me to help with a project, when it was so clear that I was in the room to learn. I will forever hold her as the gold standard of what a passionate, intelligent, and engaging leader looks like. To Andy and all that knew and loved Lisa, may you find some peace in knowing the positive impact she had on so many of us.

So shocked and saddened by the loss of Lisa! She was an amazing leader and mentor to me and many employees at Cummins Inc! I was fortunate enough to be hired into her IT organization when I joined Cummins. I remember the tough and reasonable questions she inquired during my interview process with her. Most notably; she further shape my interest in Corporate and Social Responsibility as she sponsored one of Cummins first Community Involvement Projects to integrate Six Sigma for the Wilder Foundation Mobile Resource Center that I was honored be a member (the recognition plaque is still proudly displayed at my desk). She will be deeply missed! My condolences to Andy, the family and all who knew Lisa.

Lisa was one of my best bosses. I was also fortunate to have known her for many years. She was caring and passionate about her team. She had a way of encouraging you to excel and I always tried to exceed her expectations. I have many memorable moments to share, but these three are among the top of my list.
1. One of my best job interviews was with her, when I first went to the Power Generation business. We spent all our time trying to understand and solve many complex problems. She respected my skills and experience. The interview became a dialogue!
2. She was the epitome of a highly committed team player. At our 2009 Power Generation Operations Quarterly staff meeting, she had to leave one afternoon, for her chemotherapy. She returned promptly that evening to have dinner with the team and most importantly to participate in our Scavenger Hunt competition. I was proud to be on her winning team ! I was amazed at her stamina, persistence and dedication to the team.
3. One of my most memorable performance reviews was on a flight from Tokyo to Minneapolis. We happened to run into each other in the lounge. During the flight, we managed to catch up on many topics, one of which was my Quarterly performance review ! It was short and sweet as usual along with a profound development suggestion ! I will be indebted to her for that.
