As I write a message for my grandad tears freely drop from my eyes and my heart is truly. broken .,my only comfort is he is no longer in pain and the fact that my cousin Christian and George would have been waiting for him at the gates of heaven.
I know people say you never know , what you had until it's gone well aint that the truth.and a feeling that will probably stay with me for a long time if not forever.
My grandad has always been a special man and role model to me and our family.
always taught me that family is always to come first cos u can pick your friends but family is special cos they are chosen for you.As the oldest grandchild I am blessed to have the precious memories of our days out to the zoo and London ,to visiting his friends Mr &Mrs Shim ,stealing granddads bottles of rum ,even when I hated getting on the bus to go to the Peckham just for hard dough bread all because they had a bakery .Then another trip to croydon just for plantain( as a teenage I wondered why we couldn't just get everything in one place) but going out and about was what grandad loved to do and by doing this grandad was a well known man. Which extended the trips because everyone had to have a chat with grandad
My kids now say the same to me when I go to one town for one thing and another town for something else .I won't even get started about what type of meltdown they have if I see some one I know and decide to have a chat.
one of my favourite memory was at Christmas, just gone when you was so happy which we could all see when we spoke via video link and you told us all how much you loved us and we were able to tell you how much we loved you too
I want to Thank you for being my grandad .I will never forget you and more importantly I will never stop loving you as you will always have a special part of my heart .i only wished heaven had visiting hours
rest in perfect eternal peace and continue to guide and protect us from heaven until we meet again
