Lois Allison Obituary
She moved to Greeley with her parents, when she was three months old. She then moved to Denver for three years. Lois worked at Weld County Hospital in Greeley, also Wright & McGill, Granger Rod Company in Denver.
On July 6, 1948, Lois married Edward O. Allison in Denver and moved back to Greeley. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, crafts and time with her family and friends.
Lois died, at the age of 91, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center in Greeley.
Lois is survived by sons, Barry (Diana) and grandson, Dillon Allison of Aurora and Orie (Melanee) and grandson, Justin Allison of Kansas; a daughter, Dianne (Ed) Stieber of Greeley and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Allison, parents, four sisters, Grace Lemons, Maxine Gutekunst, Joy Butz and Betty, grandparents, Willis and Etta (Imel) Gordon and George and Elgin (Sappinton) Houtchens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 followed by funeral service at 12:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
