Lola DUPONT Obituary
1927 - 2014
Lola M. Dupont passed away peacefully at the Rising Sun in Black Diamond on April 26, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Lola is lovingly remembered by her sons Randy, Robert, Richard (Jacqueline), Shawn (Kelly); nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, her sister, Carol and former daughters-in- law, Erika, Rosemary and Wanda. Lola was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Emile Jr., sons Dale, Marvin, Murray and Dennis and grandson Christopher, brothers Stan, Don, Bob and her sister Muriel. Lola was born in Didsbury, moved to Calgary in 1959 and raised eight boys. She worked at St. Michael's Rectory for over 20 years, retiring in 1993. She was an active member of the Catholic Women's League and enjoyed belonging to a bridge club. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayer Services at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), Calgary on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 800 - 85 Street S.W., Calgary on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Rising Sun Long Term Care Unit, 717 Government Road, Black Diamond, AB T0L 0H0. I baby sat the three oldest boys for Lola in Didsbury. I never forgot her. She was beautiful, warm, and loving. I saw all the same qualities in the pictures you posted.
You will miss her and my sympathy to you all.

Our thoughts are with you all at this time Lola was a long resident of Westgate and handled the Hall rentals for many years. She was always cheerful, friendly and had a wonderfuly smile.
