Lonnie Adams Obituary

Lonnie D. Adams, 70, died at his home on Friday, June 10, 2005. Mr. Adams was born February 24, 1935, in Greenbrier County, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest and Texie (Workman) Adams. He was a member of Dublin Evangelical Methodist Church. Mr. Adams was a former employee at Southern States in Whiteford, Md., and had owned and operated Surge Dairy Supplies Co. for many years. He is survived by two sons, Todd Adams of Alexandria, Va., and Scott Adams of Cape Coral, Fla.; three granddaughters; and his former wife, Virginia Noll of Naples, Fla. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, with his pastor, Dr. John McKnight, officiating. Viewing will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, Delta. Sign the guest book at www.harkinsfuneralhome.com

Our sincere sympathy to all, in the passing of your father,grandfather,uncle,in-law. He will be missed, Lester tried to keep in contact as much as he could. You are all in our prayers as you have been thru alot in the past couple of years.
