Lonnie Motley Obituary

GREENSBORO - Lonnie B. Motley, Jr. of 2117 Fairbrothers Street died Tuesday morning at the Moses Cone Hospital. As a native and lifelong resident of Guilford County, he attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Laughlin High School, Summerfield. He was employed by the Old Master Cabinet Company.
Survivors are: one son, Brandon Motley of Las Vegas, Nevada; longtime friend and companion, Andrea Forney of Greensboro; two sisters, Cynthia J. Motley and Vicki L. Motley of Gibsonville; four brothers, James M. Motley, Terry L. Motley and spouse, Ophelia, Michael A. Motley and spouse, Niki, Rodney L. Motley, all of Greensboro; other relatives and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street with Minister Wanda Moyer presiding.
The family visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home and may be contacted other times at the residence of Michael and Niki Motley, 6 Crape Myrtle Circle, Brown Summit. Funeral arrangements are by Johnson & Sons.
