LORETTA SHOEMAKER SPRATLEY, born May 22, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland died Thursday, June 27, 2002 in Georgetown, Texas. She was married to Jackson Y. Spratley, who predeceased her in 1994. Loretta was the past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chisholm Trail Elks in Georgetown, Texas. Loving mother of Denise Huffman and husband Dan of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, Jerome Butler Grayson, Jr. of Wilkesboro, North Carolina and Regan Clyde Grayson who predeceased her in 1962; daughter, Cheryl A. Turner and husband Robert of Campwood, Texas; loving stepmother of John R. Spratley and wife Genie of Riverside, California, Stephen M. Spratley of Norwich, New York, and Mark A. Spratley and wife Carol of Norwich, New York; loving grandmother of Brandi, Lauren, and Taylor Huffman, and Steven Grayson; step-grandmother of Stephaney Belleville and John Jackson, Stephen, Jason, Kaitlyn, Wayne, Robert, and Bree Spratley; step-great grandson, Alexander Belleville; her devoted sisters, Alice Writesel and husband Clarence of Hebron, Ohio and preceding her death, Mildred Adams and Catherine Carden; brothers, Richard L. Shoemaker III and Robert Shaffer both of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; faithful and loving sister-in-law, Elsie Walton and Sue Sedgley, both of Georgetown, Texas; loving niece of Maxine Shoemaker of Baltimore, Maryland and deovted cousin of Russ Sears and wife Jane of Baltimore, Maryland. The family will receive guests for visitation from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Sunday, June 23, 2002 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 1, 2002 at 11 A.M. in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Berry Creek Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas. Luncheon to follow at the Chisholm Trail Elks Lodge in Georgetown.
