Lori J. Dosen

Dosen, Lori J. Age 55, of Chanhassen, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on April 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles K. Jorgensen. Lori was a homemaker and a fearless champion of rights for special needs children. She had a great sense of right and wrong and what was fair. She was very proud of her daughter's poems and stories. She is survived by her mother and and stepfather, Joan & Richard Arndt of Park City, UT; loving husband, Tim Dosen; children, Rachael, Cameron & Nicholas Dosen; sister, Kathleen Jorgensen of Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Mike (Susan) Jorgensen of Park City, UT; brother, Gregg Jorgensen of Peoria, IL; stepsisters, Tammy (Dave) Freilinger of Apple Valley, MN, Michelle (Jarmo) Kumpula of St. Bonifacious, MN, Carrie (Marek) Arndt of Apple Valley, MN; sisters-in-law, Annette (Jerry) Varichak of Mazomanie, WI, Maria (Marvin) Rice of Richmond, WI; brothers-in-law, Daniel Dosen of St. Louis Park, MN, Willard Dosen of Hibbing, MN; mother-in-law, Ruth Dosen of Hibbing, MN, and many nieces and nephews of whom she was quite proud. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 5th at 10:30 AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd., Edina, MN. Fellowship will take place after the funeral. According to Lori's wishes, her family will be making a trip to spread her ashes in her favorite places. A special thanks to Tammy Freilinger, Rachael Lynn, and all our neighbors. You have all been so kind and thoughtful. You give new meaning to the word generosity.
