Lori Solda Obituary
Lori worked at Soldas Resturaunt for over 30 years as a waitress and never disappointed anyone in the service she gave to them. Lori also loved to spend time with her family and friends and just having a good time and enjoy life at her home away from home on Sproat Lake.
Lori always stayed brave and got through all that she had to. She raised over $5200 in the Walk To End Breast Cancer. Lori was truly an amazing person who is loved by many. Not only was she a wife, mother, daughter and a friend, she is our hero and our inspiration.
All family and friends are invited to a memorial tea at the Alberni Valley Golf Course located at 6449 Cherry Creek Rd. on Monday January 31, 2011 from 1-4pm. Stories and condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.chapelofmemories.ca

Zia, you were always a person that had a smile on her face through everything. I will miss you so much. You always said ever since I was a little girl that we were so much alike in every way right down to the shaking hands. I an thankful for all the influence and inspiration that Zia has been. I am also grateful that I know that we will all someday see her again.

Hey Lor....man you were one tough broad.....I'll never forget some of the fun times you Terry-lee & me had together. I know your Mom was quite worried about you when you hung out with us.....but she needn't have worried cause you were a smart cookie. Lori you fought the fight like no one else. You were an inspiration to us all. Your persona was always so positive and when people first meant you they were left with such a positive impression. Tino and Family, i am so sorry for your loss... I only met Lori once when a few of us were visiting with Tino. She was such a friendly and inviting person and she made us feel like part of the family. She sat us all down for a homemade lunch of onion soup and sandwiches and it was so delicious! Sorry for your Lost, know that Lori helped me in a small but a special moment in my life when times were tough! This moment gave me the strength to keep going for myself and my kids and to find the brighter light at the end of each day and now to my happier life and my love for not only my children but the man to which I plan to carry on with and this gave me strength to believe in LOVE again!!
