Lorie Toews Obituary
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Jacob, children Derryl (Karen) Toews, Orilyn (Don) Pasiuk, Carmen (Denis) Routhier, Nancy (Daryl) Allen, Ruth (Paul) Vandenberg, Sharon (Jeff) Burns, Daniel (Donna) Toews, and Rebecca (Philippe) Straforelli; 24 grandchildren; 20 great grand children; two sisters, one brother and their families. She is predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one grandson.
Lorie's 86 years were rich and full in ministry with the love of her life, her husband Jake of 66 years. She dedicated her life to her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorie blessed those she knew with her quilting talents in many creative ways. She was a classy lady and was known for her impeccable taste. Her heart's desire was to enter Heaven's gates with her family surrounding her singing. God answered her prayers.
A Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at City Life Church, Chilliwack BC.

Vern and I extend our deepest love and prayers for you and our hearts are full of many wonderful memories. Mrs. Toews was truly one of God's masterpieces! We consider ourselves blessed to have gazed at her beauty - beautiful as a wife, beautiful as a mother and beautiful as a follower of Jesus. She had room in her heart to love us, in addition to her eight children. We appreciate every lesson she taught us about discipline, hospitality, loving our spouse and serving God with our whole hearts. She was an awesome lady and we know you will miss her! So, dear Toews family, we continue to lift you up in prayer in the days ahead. May our God hold you close to His heart.
