RAE, Lorna I. (nee Seed) January 4, 1938 - February 22, 2011 Lorna passed peacefully into God's presence on February 22, 2011. She was ever so appreciative of the family in which she was raised and of her present family. Predeceased by sister Edith McLean (Ted) and survived by sisters Betty Smith (Mac), Audrey Towle (Bud), Marion Hurd (Ted), brother Walter Seed (Lindsie); daughter Kathleen (Dale), son Hugh (Mara); granddaughters Rebecca and Amy Brook and Violet and Bonnie Rae. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Lorna followed in her mother's footsteps becoming a nurse and worked in the community developing programs supportive of the elderly and handicapped. In keeping with her faith she invites her family and friends to join in a Celebration of Thanksgiving for her life at Colebrook United Church, 5441 - 125A St., Surrey, BC at 2:00 p.m. March 2, 2011. "My life flows on....how can I keep from singing?" Flowers appreciated and donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully accepted.

Lorna Rae was a client of mine for this last seven years. I have learned much about life listening to her simple clear vision of the world and greatly appreciated having know her.
