LORRAINE R. BRADLEY

BRADLEY, Lorraine R. (Roy) Of Braintree, formerly of Peabody, passed away unexpectedly, at her home, on October 28, 2021, at the age of 96. Born and raised in Peabody, Lorraine graduated from St. John's School in Peabody. She did her nurse's training at St. John Hospital in Lowell. Before marrying, she was a nurse at the Cushing Hospital at the end of WWII. Lorraine was a longtime communicant at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Lorraine will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Lorraine was the wife of the late John J. Bradley; sister of the late Pauline Spinneit, the late Maurice Roy, and the late Francis Roy; loving mother of Jack J. Bradley and his wife Melissa of Wellesley, Paul J. Bradley and his wife Anne of Wellesley, Mark C. Bradley and his wife Susan of Santa Barbara, CA, Clare M. Wright and her husband John of Braintree, Anne J. Annacone of E. Bridgewater, and Jean E. Bradley of Scituate; cherished "grammy" to Mark, Nicholas, Alison, Justin, Meaghan, Amy, Andrew, Katherine, Peter, John, Hannah, Abby, and Ryan. "great-grammy" to Maximus, Lincoln, Cassius, Kate, Eleri, Margot, Genevieve, and Rowan. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, November 4th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., BRAINTREE. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 5th at 9:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Private burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
