SANFORD ; Lorraine L. Fabrizio, 73, of Sanford, died Jan. 15 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on November 6, 1935, the daughter of Norman A. and Vera (Blanchard) Lincoln.

She attended Stoughton Schools and the Brockton Beauty Academy in Brockton, Massachusetts. Laurie taught hairdressing at the LeBaron Beauty Academy and the Brockton Beauty Academy.

She and her husband moved to Maine in 1986.

Laurie and her husband, Donald, were both musically inclined. She could play the piano and the guitar and was a vocalist specializing in jazz, swing and gospel music. They performed together over the years at private parties and local nursing homes.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Donald A. Fabrizio, of Sanford; 4 sons, Raymond Spencer and his wife, Glenna, of St. Augustine, Florida, Bruce Spencer and his wife, Rosemary, of Brockton, Massachusetts, Mark Spencer, of Littleton, New Hampshire, and Bradley Spencer, of Orlando, Florida; a daughter, Donna Sibilio and her husband, Jason, of Twin Mt., New Hampshire; 2 brothers, Norman Lincoln and his wife, Helen, of Hanson, Massachusetts, and Charles Lincoln, of Antrim, New Hampshire; and 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends called at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home at 580 Main Street in Springvale on Sunday, Jan. 18. A funeral service was conducted on Monday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the spring in Riverside Cemetery in Springvale.
