Lorraine A. Reardon

Lorraine A. (Conway) Reardon, 87, of Rockland, passed away on June 24, 2018. Born October 31, 1930, in Hingham, she was the daughter of the late James and Marion (Stetson) Conway. Lorraine grew up in Rockland and was a Rockland High School graduate, Class of 1948. She was a member of the Holy Family School Mother's Club, Defender's Drum & Bugle Corps Booster Club, and former treasurer for the Golden Ages. She was an avid bingo player, Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan. Lorraine loved sewing, cake decorating, cooking, home remedies, flower gardening, crosswords, puzzles, Boggle and Word Bubble. She also enjoyed Irish and country music and talk radio. Most of all, Lorraine loved spending time with her family. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Reardon; devoted mother of Kathleen Boyd and her husband Wayne of Rockland, Maureen Barends and her late husband Charles of Hanson, Patricia White and her husband Mark of Rockland, Joseph P. Reardon and his wife Carolyn of Sandwich, Jacqueline Kelley and her husband Kevin of East Bridgewater, and Lisa Reardon of Rockland; dear sister of Esther Aimola of Rockland and the late James B. Conway, Jeremiah C. Conway, Marion E. Morrill, William F. Conway, Richard T. Conway, Alice L. Krappe, Dorothy A. Dyson and Evelyn M. Personeni; cherished grandmother of Charley Barends, his wife Tracey, their children Connor and Emerson, Denise Boyd Gillis, her husband Steven, their children Maxwell and Samuel, Matthew Boyd, his wife Tiffany, their children Quinn and Ali, Timothy Boyd, his wife Penelope, their children Elliot and James, Heather Barends Rosano, her husband Michael, their children Michael and Hadleigh, Erin Reardon, Joseph P. Reardon, Jr, his wife Molly, their child Jackson, Ryan Kelley, Sean Reardon, and Meagan Kelley. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 45 E. Water St, Rockland, on Wednesday, June 27 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland at 9 a.m. Burial to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
